The Regional Future Tennis Champions is a team based competition. Each team is comprised of four Red Level, two Orange Level, and two Green Level players. Each season there are a minimum of four Regional tournaments located around Northern California and the top finishers from each tournament will qualify for the end of the season Future Tennis Champions Event.

USTA NorCal is sponsoring the inaugural art contest for kids from Northern California in celebration of “Breaking the Barriers” an exhibit chronicling the history of Blacks in tennis. The exhibit will be showcased at the San Francisco Public Library from September 28, 2013 to January 5, 2014. The winners of the contest will have their artwork showcased alongside the exhibit!

USPTA’s Certification Exam includes an on-court evaluation of tennis strokes and playing skills, feeding and grip analysis, private and group lesson instruction, and other skills needed in the tennis-teaching profession. The exam also includes a two-hour written test covering teaching, playing and business management skills, 10 and Under Tennis rules, club activity programming and other topics.

A doubles round robin at several Marin clubs followed by lunch and an Athleta fashion show at The Club at Harbor Point. Women's and mixed doubles.

Campus Showdowns are a USTA Player Development Program. They are non-sanctioned, low cost, one day events that are completely open - to juniors, college players, professionals, and adults. These events are will be 'Level Based' meaning that players are grouped according to their rating.
