The mission of the RTC program is to create a comprehensive system for teaching and coaching which will create successive waves of junior players, ages 8-13yrs, with sound fundamentals, restoring American prominence in the professional and collegiate game.
Each year the NorCal section hosts 6 RTC Camps: Cal, Stanford, Eagle Fustar (3 camps), and the Cal Club.
Player are selected via a collaboration between the NorCal Coaches Commission, National staff and section staff.

RTC Camps are a tool for COACH IDENTIFICATION as well as Player Identification.
ALL NorCal Coaches are invited to attend the Coaching Education Session run by a USTA National Coach (11am-2pm) on the first Friday of each RTC Camp. Learn the USTA Teaching and Coaching Philosophy(created by McEnroe and Higueras) that is implemented at the National Training Centers. Please attend to learn, collaborate, and join with NorCal's Player Development team.

Player Development Camps are a tool for COACH IDENTIFICATION as well as Player Identification.

ALL NorCal Coaches are invited to attend the Coaches Orientation run by a NorCal Coaches Commission member prior to the start of each Player Development Camp. Learn the USTA Teaching and Coaching Philosophy (created by Jose Higueras and Patrick McEnroe) that is implemented at the National Training Centers. Please attend to learn, collaborate, and join with NorCal's Player Development team.

NorCal 10 Player Development Camps (PDC's) provide opportunities for our up and coming young players come together, build friendships, learn good fundamentals, and benefit from practice and interaction amongst friends.

The TAUT PDC's are section run camps that are being implemented by our TAUT Committee to help us identify players to be selected for the EDC Camps.

ALL NorCal Coaches are invited to attend a FREE Coaching Education Session run by one of our stand out sectional 10 and Under Coaches. Learn the USTA Teaching and Coaching Philosophy of 10 and Under Tennis, familiarize yourself with the drills and progressions for working with young players.

Our TAUT PDC's are a great next step for coaches that are already Quickstart certified. Learn practical training methods that enable young players to learn the FUNdamentals of tennis.
