Showdown

Don't Wait Until College to Play Against College Players!

  • A USTA Player Development Program, Campus Showdowns are one day, short format tournaments open to EVERYONE - juniors, college players, professionals, and adults.
  • Campus showdowns will be "level based" and players will be organized based on their rating.
  • Many of the events with women’s teams will be coed – and a great opportunity for everyone.
  • The tournaments are run on college campuses and the fee is nominal for a full day of tennis.
  • Register on TennisLink. Fees will be collected by the college coach.
  • Draws will not be posted online as they usually are for tournaments. Arrive at the posted start time. Players will a full day of tennis – both singles and doubles
  • These tournaments are non-sanctioned, non-ranking events. They are age blind – and our coed events are gender blind. IT’S ALL ABOUT TENNIS!
  • Don’t have to wait until college – to play against a college player! Showdowns are a great opportunity to play on the varsity courts against some new competition and also meet the players and coaches, and check out the campus.
