The 2012 USTA NorCal Senior League season concluded this past weekend with two days of round robin play at Stanford University. The eight teams who won their NTRP level will represent the Northern California section at the
USTA League Senior National Championships to be held in Rancho Mirage and Indian Wells during October.
This was the first year that the Senior League Section Championships were held at Stanford University. While the Stanford Varsity men's and women's teams were in Athens GA competing in the NCAA Championships, our senior league players were able to enjoy their stadium courts. It's great venue for players and spectators, sharing the excitement of competing on the samecourts which will soon be home to the WTA women at the Bank of the West Classic.
