Adult 40 and Over League Format

Team Match Format - Local League Season through Playoffs:
ONE line of singles and TWO lines of doubles

 

POST SEASON Team Match Format (Districts, Sectionals, Nationals):
TWO lines of singles and THREE lines of doubles
 

WHY this format and answers to your other questions 

Levels: Men's and Women's teams in 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+

4.5+ allows two 5.0 players to join the roster. One 5.0 player can participate per match during the 3-line local season, and both 5.0s may play in 5-line matches at Districts, Sectionals, and Nationals. 5.0s must play #1 singles and/or #1 doubles.

Age Requirement: Players must reach age 40 by the end of the calendar year.
 
Ratings: Match data from this league will be used toward Year-End Rating calculations.

 

Rounds of Competition: Local Season, Playoffs, District, Sectional, and National championships.
