SAP Open, February 8-14, 2010

The SAP Open is coming to the HP Pavillion in San Jose and the schedule of play for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night has been announced.  The Pete Sampras vs. Fernando Verdasco charity exhibition singles match will be played at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 8.   

Lleyton Hewitt,  Tommy Haas, the Bryan Brothers, Fernando Verdasco and Andy Roddick are all scheduled to play first round matches Monday - Wednesday.  The SAP Open draw event will be held Friday, February 6 at 12 noon at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown San Jose.

Bryan Brothers Las Vegas Fantasy Camp and Concert

ATP Pros at $50K Challenger in Sacramento

The Natomas Racquet Club in Sacramento is hosting the $50,000 Pro Circuit Challenger tournament October 3-11.  Main draw matches are now underway featuring #1 seed, Robert Kendrick, Vince Sapdea and Jan-Michael Gambill. 

October 7 will feature "Legends Night", recognizing individuals in the Sacramento area who have made signifiant contributions to the growth, reputation and character of tennis in Sacramento.

$50K Challenger Returns to Tiburon

The $50K RBS Challenger returns to the Tiburon Peninsula Club October 12-18, 2009.  A qualifying tournament will begin on October 10.  Look for some of the best up and coming ATP tennis professionals in the world to play right here in the Bay Area at this USTA Pro Circuit event.  Robert Kendrick, ranked #85 in the world, and other top ATP players, including Taylor Dent, are scheduled to play.  Local Stanford sophmore currently ranked 995 in the world and PAC 10 Conference Singles Champion, Bradley Klahn has received a wildcard.  Admission to the tournament is free October 10-16.  Tickets are now on sale for the final weekend.

The tournament will benefit Youth Tennis Advantage, a comprehensive program of tennis and academic tutoring.  A USTA Kids Day Clinic will be offered October 10th.  Royal Bank of Scotland is the title sponsor.
