Are You a Volunteer Seeking Enlightenment?
Well, USTA NorCal Can Help!

Alice 97.3 FM Radio will host its free Now & Zen Fest Concert in Sharon Meadow, Golden Gate Park on Sunday September 27th.  The musical line up will include hot musical performers such as Train, Colbie Caillat, and Howie Day just to name a few.

Besides a remarkable day of music in the park, Alice's Now & Zen Fest is full of good vibes and positive ZENergy. Bask in the sun, enjoy the company of friends, indulge your senses ... whatever moves you!  And to add to the fun, the U.S. Tennis Association No. California (USTA NorCal) will be on-site and will offer free tries at its inflatable Fast Serve Booth. With the serves of the pro players being clocked upwards of 120 miles per hour (think Roger Federer) daring folks would like to know how fast they too serve. The FSB gives people of varying levels of tennis skill a chance to see how they compare with the pros.  It’s fun, promotes fitness and prizes will go to the fastest servers of the day.

USTA NorCal is seeking volunteers to help staff the booth. There are two shifts available:  9:00 am to12:00 noon and 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. A total of four volunteers will be needed per shift. It’s a great, fun way to knock off a few fun hours with your friends.

All volunteers will receive a T-shirt, snacks and beverages (non alcoholic). Volunteer training will also be provided on site when you arrive. No particular experience is necessary, just a willingness to help out and have a great time!

To sign up please email communityvolunteer@norcal.usta.com.  Requests to volunteer will be honored in the order received. Please be specific as to the shift for which you are available when contacting us.

Thank you for supporting USTA NorCal!
