2010 Mixed Section Championship

The 2010 Mixed Doubles Section Championship began Saturday, June 6th at Stanford University.  Twenty four teams, representing combined levels 6.0 through 10.0.  And for the first time, beginning 2.5 mixed teams competed.

Nothing beats playing on the pristine courts at Taube Tennis Center at Stanford University, the home of the newly crowned NCAA National Champion Stanford women's tennis team.  USTA NorCal mixed doubles teams were competing to advance to their own national championship played in Tucson, AZ in November.  Teams playing this weekend all survived the District Championshipa few weeks ago at the Diamond Hills Racquet Club in Oakley, winning their flight or earning a wildcard.  And the champions are....
