2009 Super Senior 65 Section Champions

Congratulations to the
2009 Super Senior 65 Section Champions!
After winning their local league, twenty nine men's and women's teams advanced to the three day round robin event. Competing at the 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 level, six teams emerged as 2009 champions.
Players enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and the bay front setting of the Harbor Bay Club in Alameda. To play in this league, all players must be at least 65 years old but many are well into their seventies, some in their eighties. We overheard some comparisons of injuries and ailments but you'd never know it by watching the athleticism and fitness displayed by these players. It was inspiring to everyone watching the tennis. Keep up the great tennis, you all earned the Super Senior title today!
