| Transfer to the USTA National site to self-rate (new or to renew an expired one), to convert from a "M" or "T" rating to an "S" rating, or to appeal your year end computer rating.
Set up a player account on the National website. You will be required to establish a password. This must be in place prior to being able to self-rate or appeal your year end rating. This is NOT the same as having a USTA membership number. This is also different than having a password on the NorCal site.
TO SELF RATE: CLICK the Self-Rate link on your USTA established player page under Find NTRP Rating Info.
TO APPEAL YOUR RATING: Begin the appeal process by typing your USTA number under Find NTRP Rating Info on your USTA established player page or clicking Appeal Rating Level under your published NTRP level in the right hand corner.
TO CONVERT YOUR M OR T RATING: Click on Register for a team.
Enter your USTA membership # and enter the following team #s: 5083746325 (for women) and 5083746324 (for men) You are not really registering for these team.These are the team #s that will allow you to get to the self rate page ONLY. They are not the numbers for the teams you actually want to join. Press Continue.
In red, you will see the message
"There is a problem with your form. See below for details."
In red, you will see the message
"The player’s rating is too high for team entered. Please Click here to self rate.
CLICK on self rate and answer the questions to receive a self rate.
Wait 24-48 hours for the new rating to transfer to the NorCal site and then register for your team on the NorCal site.
