11/3/2009 7:23:00 PMCome out for a fun introduction to tournament play at the Redwood High School in Larkspur, Sunday afternoon, November 15th, for kids ages 6 to 14. Three divisions will be offered based on age and experience.
Developed by the USTA, the QuickStart Tennis play format will be used which includes age appropriate equipment, including smaller racquets, lower bouncing balls, and smaller courts. The kids are able to better develop proper tactics, footwork and technique at a much younger age, because the ball is landing in their strike zones, rather than going over their heads.
$28 includes registration, a T-shirt and medals for everyone.
