Community Tennis Coordinators
USTA Northern California has a team of people dedicated to the growth and development of tennis programs in the community. Community Tennis Coordinators are USTA staff, living in and advocating for tennis in your area. They will provide guidance and information to help you or your family get involved in one of our many programs. They can even help you start your own team, junior league, coaches workshop or community tennis association. USTA League Area Coordinators
A league area coordinator is the primary contact person for league players in their community, throughout Northern California. They are all volunteers with many years of experience playing USTA league tennis and captaining teams. They assist players in finding a team, and help captains recruit players for their teams. They also assist USTA NorCal to form new teams.
Coordinators help captains and players to understand and to apply USTA rules and Local League Area Regulations. Local area coordinators are available to answer league questions and offer suggestions, helping to solve problems at the grass-roots level. You will also see them working at league championship events. They are a great resource for guidance and information.
