USTA National 30's Indoor Championships Take Place Next Weekend

Spare Time Clubs announces the USTA National 30’s Indoor Tennis Championships at the Spare Time Indoor Tennis Center from April 27 through April 30. Over 100 top level adult players from throughout the United States are expected to compete for $10,000 in prize money at one of the most prestigious amateur adult tournaments in Northern California. NorCal Mother/Son Duo Win Indoor Nationals

NorCal’s Matt Solomon and his mother, Joan Oloff won the USTA National Mother Son Indoor Championships held March 16-18, 2012. They did not drop a set until the finals where they beat the #1 seeds from San Diego, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. The win earned them both their first Gold Ball. Read More

$2,500 Stahl Motor Company Elite 16 Open, Senior & NTRP

A great weekend of tennis was played by all players at Chamisal Tennis & Fitness Club on the weekend of March 10-11, 2012. All players playing in this tournament also received the opportunity to try Tournament Director Scott Krueger’s signature Tri Tip & Chicken Taco compliments of Chamisal Tennis & Fitness Club. Jeff Greenwald of Marin Wins 45s World Title

Northern Californians Jeff Greenwald, Brian Cory, Erika Smith and Kelly Pace Wilson all take home medals. After eight days of play, the Seniors World Individual Championships drew to a close with champions being crowned at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. A total of 739 players took part from 46 countries competing for 25 titles in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Read More
