Double the Fun and Double the Points
USTA Northern California is pleased to announce the 2012 NTRP Grand Slam Tournaments. Tournaments can gain Grand Slam status by receiving the highest player evaluations and/or the most number of NTRP tournament of the year votes the previous year.
Grand Slam tournaments are worth 2 times the ranking point value of a regular tournament. The winner of each NTRP division also receives a special USTA NorCal logo item commemorating their win.
Five NTRP Grand Slam tournaments will be designated each year, one per region; Tahoe/Reno, the Bay Area, Sacramento, North Bay/Solano, and South Bay. Player feedback is very important to USTA NorCal and will play a big role in determining which tournaments receive the Grand Slam designation each year. Please submit online evaluations after each tournament played.
