Online membership is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once you complete the form, if you are joining for the first time or if you are renewing your existing membership, you will receive an immediate confirmation and membership number.
It takes one business day for new or updated membership numbers to appear on the NorCal website. As soon as your current membership is posted, you will be able to register for a NorCal league team.
Once your membership and payment have been confirmed, you can expect to receive a USTA membership card within four weeks.

Join By Phone
Call the USTA's automated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system at 1-800-990-USTA (8782) between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. (EST) Monday through Friday and speak with a USTA Customer Service Representative. Calls made after hours will be transferred to an outside service, which will take the membership enrollment information and provide the caller with a membership number.
Once membership and payment have been confirmed, you can expect to receive a USTA membership card within four weeks.
If you are renewing a membership that involves address change assistance, conversion between Individual and Family category type, or general customer service, the call should be placed between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. (EST) Monday through Friday.
NOTE: During peak membership processing period (March to May), you may experience a busy signal due to the heavy number of calls. Should that happen, it is suggested to purchase the membership after 5:00 P.M (EST) on weekdays or weekends.
