NorCal's 10 and Under Player Development Camps (TAUT PDC's) provide opportunities for our up and coming young players, age 6-10 years, to come together, build friendships, train under the USTA Teaching and Coaching Philosophy, and benefit from practice and interaction amongst peers.
TAUT PDC's are section run camps that are being implemented by our TAUT Committee to help us identify players to be selected for the Early Development Center (EDC) Camps. These camps are run by experienced 10 and Under Coaches. Players are selected by the host site, as well the Section staff and the TAUT Committee.

There are 10 OPEN spots for every TAUT PDC for proficient young players who already have tennis experience and a solid skill set.
The cost to participate in one of these camps is $40 per player. Parents are also welcome to attend and learn.

Early Development Training Centers are new programs established by Patrick McEnroe and Player Development to enable us to recruit and retain our most precious resource: young athletes, ages 6 to 10.
Having successful EDC's around the country will help us grow the talent pool of junior players and create a new wave of
world-class tennis professionals in the years to come.
NorCal is proving to be a national leader in terms of 10 and Under Tennis. NorCal has an outstanding number of new 10 & Under members and we are also charging ahead with line grants for facilities to paint permanent 36ft (red) and 60ft (orange) lines on their courts.
NorCal has three Early Development Centers, in Los Gatos, San Francisco, and Sacramento. Each EDC will be actively engaged in the creation of 10 & Under programming and will host one EDC Camp per year for players aged 6-10 years.
NOTE: These annual camps have a limited number of participants and are invitation only, similar to RTC Camps. Our National Coaching Staff is continually evaluating and identifying the most promising young 10 and under players in the United States. We are looking for players with an excellent work ethic, commitment and attitude. Selections are based on a collaboration between National Player Development staff, sectional staff, as well as the NorCal Coaches Comission.
