Welcome to
USTA Northern California

USTA Northern California, located in Alameda, is a not-for-profit volunteer based organization with approximately 38,000 adult members, 11,000 junior members and almost 700 organization members. Since 1953, the USTA Northern California section has been one of the 17 sections of the United States Tennis Association, the governing body of tennis in America. With our volunteer Board of Directors, a staff of over 30 members, and hundreds of volunteers, USTA Northern California is devoted to promoting and developing the growth of tennis as an inclusive and inviting lifetime activity in Northern California and Northwest Nevada.

USTA Northern California offers tennis programs for all ages and ability levels. We partner with our Member Organizations to bring tennis into every community.  USTA Northern California assists deserving non profit programs and junior players through grants and scholarships. We believe that tennis is a lifetime sport, a fun way to exercise and spend quality time with friends and family.

USTA Northern California gratefully acknowledges the outstanding contributions made by all our volunteers. We always need the help and skills of tennis enthusiasts. If you would like to become a part of our volunteer family and get closer to the game, please check out our Volunteer page or call us at (510) 748-7373, ext. 7350 or email communityvolunteer@norcal.usta.com.
